“Grateful for the warmth of friendship and hospitality on a cool PNW day. And the food, locally sourced and foraged could only be described as soul satisfying.
Stoked for the people and the passion that as gone into creating this experience—it embodies everything that’s special about the PNW and Whidbey Island.”

“I had the honor of joining the Food Fire Iron crew for an active open fire cooking demonstration.
I have Appalachian roots and moved out here after leaving the military over 5 years ago - spending time with this team was like coming home for the first time in years. JP and team were patient and present teachers as they encouraged us to be active with the various flames and ingredients they presented.
I walked away with new knowledge and a joy like I have not had since moving out here. Those flames are powerful! I cannot wait to get back out there.”

“It was an honor to join this creative crew for a Christmas Day outdoor feast. The food was beyond delicious and the set up is warm (fire) and invites conversation.
Everything was so yummy and then it was topped off by the best sorbet (grilled pineapple) that I have ever tasted. This is an experience that is so uniquely Whidbey. Excited to see what’s around the corner for Food, Fire & Iron, I sense a big future for them.”
